Why We Exist
Nocturne Verse was born from the quiet hours — a digital refuge for poetry that haunts, heals, and whispers back. We believe poetry is not a luxury but a survival skill, and our mission is to elevate voices that explore the dark, the dreamy, and the divine. Whether your work emerges from grief, myth, silence, or joy — if it glows in the night, we want to read it.
What We Publish
Our focus is contemporary poetry that leans lyrical, speculative, gothic, or experimental. We look for:
- Poems that shimmer with emotional resonance
- Voices from the margins — of culture, genre, and genre-defying form
- Visceral imagery, mythic tone, or unexpected vulnerability
- Short poetic forms, cycles, or prose poems welcome
We publish new work monthly. Two featured authors are selected for each issue, with occasional guest spotlights and editor’s notes.
